This year, the 2022 food festival will held be on Saturday 7th May, between 10 am to 4 pm. Plenty of free parking, and the weather is looking good.
Tideswell is a beautiful village in the Peak district with a very famous 14th century church dedicated to St John the baptist, and known as the Cathedral of the Peak, it really is a pretty and very popular village. Scrumptious by Lucy have a stall right next to the church in the small market square.
Tideswell is so close to many beautiful Derbyshire attractions and lovely villages, as well as not far from Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
The Tideswell food festival has been a really popular local attraction within the Peak district for a number of years, and is very well attended. There will be a great variety of over 60 stalls spaced out throughout the village, along with a makers market within the church with all kinds of local arts and crafts
Saturday will be an early start for me so I can get all my brownies and blondies freshly baked and everything packed along with the Scrumptious by Lucy gazebo.
This year I will be baking some of the classic brownies and blondies, including the ever popular Terry's chocolate orange, the Malteser brownie and as we are not far from Bakewell, my very own Bakewell blondie along with a Lemon drizzle blondie made from my Nan Freda's home made lemon curd recipe. Who doesn't like Rocky road and salted caramel brownies, I am sure I have a brownie or blondie for any taste.
