What a great week, spreading the love with chocolate brownies in Sheffield and Tideswell Festival.

Last week was such fun, with our first pop up stall at Sheffield train station and to finish the week we attended the Tideswell food festival on Saturday 7th May.

I absolutely love Tideswell and the food festival, all arranged and run by a group of lovely volunteers from the village, it was a huge success, so much so in fact, that we sold out by 2pm, and we couldn't get any more brownies and blondies into the village as the roads were completely clogged up, ending up with the police having to close the car parks due to congestion on the main road.

If you haven't been to Tideswell, you really should, it is a lovely little village and all the volunteers were so very helpful, and the organisation was impeccable, so look out for next years food festival which is normally around the first week or so of May, but I will also post something in plenty of time

Earlier in the week we also had our first pop up stall at Sheffield train station, and as you know, that was also great fun, my son George absolutely loves trains, again the organisation was spot on and we met such lovely people.

SO, back to this week,

Are you heading back to work in the office ? Starting a new job? Holding an important meeting ? Want to make an impression (a good one)? Need inspiration for a gift ? Desperate to earn brownie points (at work or at home)?

Never fear, I have the solution to your problems (well nearly all)

Scrumptious by Lucy will be back again at Sheffield Train station, this Thursday 12th May with a solution to all your problems in the shape of our gorgeous brownies and blondies, after all, who doesn't love a brownie.

What better negotiating tool than to be armed with a box of gorgeous brownies from Sheffield's premier brownies baker, once you try these seriously bad brownies, resistance is futile!

All my brownies and blondies are home made using the finest ingredients, baked fresh. From the deeply delicious chocolate brownie, the Bakewell blondie with almond and raspberry, a Lemon drizzle blondie made with home made lemon curd, a recipe passed down through generations, or the ultimate in maltyness, (I think I have invented a new word) as nothing can describe the malty taste and the texture of the Malteser brownie ! I also bake gorgeous gluten free and vegan brownies which you can order online and I will deliver in my letterbox friendly gift boxes within 2 working days. The Sheffield train station is one of the busiest train stations in the country, with well over 10 million passenger s per year, I love the buzz of the place, the staff are so very helpful, so please come and say hi, and remember whatever problem there is at work, it's sure to look better when discussing it over a coffee and beautifully fresh made brownies.

So, put Thursday 12th May in your diaries and I really do look forward to seeing you.

Hope to see you soon

Love Lucy x
