Huge Thank You to the management committee and all the lovely volunteers who made the 148th Penistone Agricultural show a huge success.
The work behind the scenes to get everything up and running was truly amazing and everyone involved should be congratulated for their efforts.
Scrumptious by Lucy The Sheffield Brownies baker had a great day and met so many lovely people in the food tent, there were plenty of stalls and all the other traders we spoke to all agreed the event was a great success and so good to be getting back to how things were when the event was last run in 2019.
The weather was perfect which bought out so many people, although the show organisers had to restrict the numbers of tickets sold, so just imagine what next year will be like if we ever return to normality.
All the people we spoke too, were really pleased to be able to finally get out after lockdown, and I was so pleased I bought extra stock of my beautiful brownies and blondies, but that didn't stop me having to send out for more brownies in the afternoon, as we sold out of so many of the flavours. The Terry's chocolate Orange, Bakewell blondie, lemon drizzle blondie and signature chocolate were the stars of the show, however the new Malteser and the Oreo came a very close second.
