What is the perfect gift for Mum?
I love being a Mum to my two beautiful boys, George, and Harry. I have a great relationship with my family and especially with my Mum, she is my best friend.
Mum recently retired and now works alongside me daily, she has supported me in growing Scrumptious by Lucy. Whether she is packing daily orders, making wholesale runs or simply Nana duties, she is always there to help, I am very lucky to have such a special Mum in my life.
As Mother’s Day is fast approaching, I always begin to think what special something can I treat mum too this year. What is the perfect gift for Mum?
I fully appreciate that some of you may not be able to spend Mother’s Day with your Mum. Part of the reason I created postal brownies was to allow people throughout the UK to enjoy delicious brownies, last year I felt proud to be able to deliver orders from sons and daughters living in Australia, the USA, France, Hong Kong and many other countries to their Mum's living here in the UK. As well as a gift from a loved one, best friend, colleague, or simply as a treat for yourself, everyone deserves a box of scrummy brownies, especially Mum.
Why brownies over flowers or other gifts?
I’ve always ordered chocolate gifts for my mum, for a number of reasons,
1) She loves chocolate, who doesn’t
2) It’s a great excuse for me to get my mum to stop running around, put the kettle on and sit down and have a chat with me, I love the times where we just sit down and chat
3) She loves to share!!!
I designed and created a premium brownie gift box to add luxury to your brownie gift. I use premium ingredients to create rich, fudgy brownies and blondies that simply taste divine. I bake every blondie and brownie and with the help of Mum, I pack and wrap every single gift box, and I write every personalised message. It was important for me to give you the opportunity to share your message, and this is all handwritten to add that extra special touch. Finally, you can add gift wrap for that extra special touch.
I have created a vast range of regular, gluten free and vegan brownies for you all to enjoy! The most difficult part I believe is choosing only 4 flavours to fit in your personalised brownie box!
Mum is both a chocolate brownie and blondie lover, her perfect box is the Bakewell blondie, the classic Terry's chocolate orange, a Malteser brownie and an Oreo brownie, however, she will often go for a refreshingly zingy lemon blondie, which we still make using the same home made lemon curd recipe her Mum gave to her, and which she passed on to me.
You can pre-order your Mum's favourite brownies now and once you have your brownies and blondies selected, in the Add Personal Message box at the checkout, just write your personal message to your Mum, and then leave the rest to me!

This year with all the problems caused by the Covid crises, especially staffing at Royal Mail and the courier companies, I will be using the DPD Next Day service to make sure your brownie gifts are delivered on Friday 25th March in time for Mother's day, I can add a small message on the outside, saying Not to be opened until Mother's Day x
