Current delivery Update
With the current Covid situation affecting staffing levels in all the postal service providers, I am currently sending brownies by post using a choice of Royal Mail 1st class parcels, as well as DPD Next Day, to try and ensure the quickest delivery of your brownie gifts across the UK.
I know how important it is to deliver your brownies as quickly as possible, and we constantly monitor deliveries as well as being in regular contact with our delivery partners, who provide a list of postcodes where they are anticipating any delay, and if I am aware of that, I will switch to the other provider, this is a latest update Royal Mail delivery Update
Although I and the parcel services do as much as we can to ensure a fast brownies delivery service, it is getting slightly more difficult to ensure that we can maintain our next working day delivery promise, we are currently achieving 95% , however, some orders, and fortunately these are few, are taking a couple of days to get to our customers.
I promise you, I am doing everything in my power and would ask if you have a particular date in mind for delivery, that where possible please use the Pre - Delivery date option and tell me when you would like your brownie gift delivered. It may be that your brownies arrive a day earlier than requested, but with the current postal crises, I think it is better to arrive a day early than a day late ? Please note that the delivery date option is for guidance and we cannot accept cancellations or refund requests due to delays in shipping and the exceptional circumstances our delivery partners are having to deal with.
I often arrange for collections on a Friday with the intention of having your brownies delivered on a Monday, however, the pressures on the postal network may sometimes mean our couriers deliver orders meant for the Monday, are delivered on the prior Saturday, and in some cases on the Sunday. We apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused. Our deliveries are always intended to be made on a working day i.e Monday - Friday as weekend deliveries are part of the premium delivery service which is extremely expensive. Delivery General Information
Delivery of a single box order will cost £3.95 and these are delivered in a letterbox friendly gift box which can be posted through the letterbox if nobody is in, more than one box on the same order will not fit the letterbox, and will require someone to receive the package or to make arrangements to leave in a safe place or with a neighbour.
All boxes ordered on an single order will be delivered at the same time, if you need different delivery dates or to different addresses, please make separate orders.
For orders of 2 or more boxes, to the same address, delivery will be made using either Royal Mail 1st class parcel delivery, or the DPD Next Day up to 5kg service at £4.95. again please note orders of more than one box will not fit through the letterbox, so please ensure either someone is in to receive the package or you nominate a safe place, such as garage, shed, or leave with a neighbour.
If you wish to place orders to more than one address, please make individual orders as each one will require individual delivery
Please ensure you enter your contact details on the checkout, so that we can pass this on to the courier in case of any delivery problems.
DPD will contact you by Text message or Email to let you know the one hour delivery window in which they are aiming to deliver your brownies. This message will also give you the various options in case you are not going to be in, or the package contians more than one box of brownies, and these options include leaving in a safe place, with a neighbour, changing delivery address or date etc.
DPD do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Guernsey, Channel Islands and some areas of the Highlands. For these locations I will provide a delivery service, usually 24 hr tracked with Royal Mail and this costs £4.95
